Great location and views in Selva Val Gardena

Pros: Perfect location for various trips in Val Gardena: Near to trekking trails and many lifts in Selva and St. Cristina, close to center yet not there thus more peaceful (note: steep 10-15 minutes walk depending on direction). Straightforward check-in and check-out with help of the kind host (also helped in organizing laundry as was required due to kids velocity of messing up clothes) and overview of options, events, transportation, etc. Simple maps and guides available helping to plan the day and excursions. Separate entrance to apartment. Amazing view on mountains from the rooms and balcony and well equipped kitchen making it possible to prepare meals in apt. ...and primarily: Beautiful Dolomites all around.

Cons: Rooms in the apt have quite simple decor. Hairdryer has seen better days.

A fabulous, comfortable perch high on a hill overlooking the town and the nearby mountains.

Pros: Gracious hosts who shared much helpful info. Location excellent with fantastic views of Selva and the mountains just beyond.

Cons: Spiders in the room. Not enough pillows.

Pros: Really clean, perfect for a couple nights. Own kitchen and bathroom, so we could cook which was great during the off season. The host was very nice, gave us maps and a ton of information about the area, and was so easy to communicate with. This was a great place, I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Cons: De basis uitrusting van de keuken zou wat beter kunnen zoals wat koffie en thee voor de eerste dag, olijfolie

Pros: Die Ferienwohnung liegt oberhalb von Wolkenstein und der Weg von der Bushaltestelle ging mehr als steil bergauf. Ansonsten war die Lage mit Blick auf die umliegende Bergwelt sehr schön. Die Wohnküche war modern, aber kein Backofen und kein Wasserkocher.

Pros: The view from the balcony is outstanding. The apartment is located just a few meters from many hiking trails with options from easy to more challenging. The beds were very comfortable and the apartment is in a quiet area about 10 minutes walk from town.
