Pros: The property is super cozy and has a home-feeling :) although the hosts don't speak English, we were able to communicate and they were really kind and attentive!

Beautiful hôtel in soprabolzano

Pros: Beautiful hôtel in the campain of soprabolzano. Very easy to come to the hotel using the funicular. Nice welcome by Gastholf, even if he doesn't speak english. Nice, large and practicle room. Very good breakfast. We love our 3 nights and 3 dinners. Gastholf gives us some wine before our leaving. Many thanks. We recommande many times !!!

Cons: I’m quite tall (6’4”-192cm) and the bed was a little short for me, everything else was more than fine!

Excellent place of stay in Soprabolzano

Pros: If you're looking for privacy and harmony with nature, if you value comfort and the hospitality of your hosts, then this is the place for you. We'll definitely be back, and we wish our hosts, Helena and Helmut, health and prosperity.

Un posto dove staccare la spina dal caos quotidiano

Pros: Posizione bellissima, nel silenzio dell'altopiano del Renon . Abbiamo trovato una vera gasthof... Ambiente pulito, cucina buonissima, colazione abbondante.. uova fresche e speck cotte al momento, yogurt, succhi, frutta ecc.. Abbiamo anche cenato con soddisfazione. Camera confortevole, silenziosa con un balcone sul bosco .. in camera erano presenti le ciabattine di cortesia e una multipresa elettrica sia con prese italiane che schuko. Il proprietario, gentilissimo e cordiale, quando siamo partiti , ci ha regalato una bottiglia di vino e ci ha accompagnato alla fermata dei mezzi pubblici. Il guest pass poi ci ha permesso di girare senza pagare un euro in più su tutti i mezzi, compreso il trenino.

Beautiful views, hospitable hosts, good food, comfortable accommodations

Pros: We had a great week at Gasthof Schluff. The views over the valley below and the Dolomites in the distance are incredible! The rooms were clean, and the staff were very attentive to our needs. We enjoyed speck and fried eggs every morning for breakfast, and ate a delicious dinner there a few times also. The cuisine is more German/Austrian than Italian. We especially liked the Wienerschnitzel. It is very easy to get down to Bolzano on the gondola, or over to Collalbo on the train. Plus there are well-maintained hiking trails all over the mountainside.

Cons: Be mindful that Gasthof Schluff is a 20-minute walk from the gondola station over trails that are not paved in all places. So hauling your luggage there is easier in a car.
