Simple, comfortable hospitality in beautiful surroundings, hosted by a friendly family.

Pros: Breakfast was excellent, everything you could need for a good Strat to the day. The staff, ie the family members were all very kind and friendly and looked after us perfectly. The place is the ideal stop in the mountains and for visiting the Bletterbach gorge.

Cons: I liked everything to be honest.

Just perfect for recharging your batteries

Pros: Just amazing. We’re from Rome and came here for a quick 5 day vacation and it literally felt like heaven! After all the hustle and bustle of the overcrowded city, Gasthof Schmiederalm gave us just what we needed: serenity, silence, cool and fresh air and amazing hospitality of the staff and the host family. We spent all our days trekking in the forest with our dog, visiting the nearby attractions and just enjoying nature. The only thing you will hear here is distant jingle of cowbells and birds singing. The room wasn’t big but is was clean and cozy. The shared bathrooms were always super tidy and good smelling. There was always a vast choice of products for breakfast and it was truly delicious. Overall, we’re super happy about our stay and just can’t wait to be back❤️

Un buon viaggio nel Alto Adige

Pros: Il luogo mi è piaciuto molto, si trova nel mezzo delle Dolomiti, si può camminare dalla malga fino alle montagne della zona ; le persone della malga sono molto simpatiche e parlano italiano, tedesco e inglese. Ho mangiato molto bene, assaggiando piatti tipici della regione dell'Alto Adige. Una menzione speciale va alla colazione, davvero ottima. Grazie per tutto!

Pros: Il luogo, l' accoglienza e la pace! Da qui si possono fare passeggiate su sentieri in mezzo ai boschi!

Cons: È un pochino isolato!

Perfekt für eine Motorrad Tour als Zwischenstopp

Pros: Abendessen und Frühstück waren sehr lecker. Es gab viel Auswahl.

Dos Días de Cuento

Pros: Las estancias dentro del refugio, el desayuno muy completo y buenísimo. Los anfitriones son encantadores.

Cons: Nos gustó todo. Es fácil pasar tiempo allí mirando las vistas que son espectaculares, los animales, los sonidos de la naturaleza. Volveremos seguro.

Immer wieder schön dort

Pros: Das Frühstück ist sensationell, die Wirtsleute super sympathisch, die Zimmer sind urig und für eine Alm authentisch. Der Blick am Morgen aus dem Fenster ist unbezahlbar. Ich war bereits zum 2. dort als Zwischenstopp einer Motorradreise aber sicher nicht zum letzten mal.
