Absolutely lovely place to stay, high above the Merano valley. I hope to return!

Pros: Excellent breakfast, wide choice of cold meats, cheeses, breads, muesli mixes, fruit juice, coffee, served on the terrace with wonderful views. Evelyn, the owners' daughter, was really helpful and friendly especially as I don't speak German (sorry!). I also had a wonderful evening meal - ghoulash highly recommended! The room was spotless, very comfortable and balcony view was amazing, with House Martins zipping around morning and evening.

Cons: Nothing - wonderful place to stay. The location is a little off the beaten track, you have to drive up through vineyards with a narrow steep road but excellent tarmac surface and the plus is the hotel has fantastic views and is extremely peaceful, high above the Merano valley. I wouldn't recommend walking from the nearest public transport / bus stop (if temperature is in the 30's as it was during my stay!) but if you have transport - no problem. I'm a little worried I've just shot myself in the foot for future availability - it's a great hotel! 🤭

Pros: The road to the hotel excludes bike theft. The hotel itself is in a great location. The price is quite moderate for the region. The restaurant is great.

Immer wieder gern.

Pros: Wir haben Halbpension gebucht und haben sehr gut gefrühstückt bzw. sehr gut zu Abend gegessen. Das tägliche vier Gänge Menü war abwechslungsreich und lecker. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber.

Cons: Dazu kann ich nichts sagen.

Pros: Schönes Hotel hoch über Schenna. Großes Zimmer, alles sehr sauber. Das Frühstück und auch das Abendessen war sehr lecker, wir kommen gerne wieder!
