Residence Nives

Pros: Amazing hotel. Comfortable beds, full-equipped kitchen, amazing balcony view. The hotel offers free BrixenCard, which gives you free public transport tickets across the region & a lot of discounts in the city. There are also great free bikes for rent, and the receptionist is very very helpful :)

Absolutely superb

Pros: Nothing not to like. Luxury with lots of added bonuses - everything from free bikes and sledges to umbrellas, coffee and even condiments. You can cook here easily. Ski bus handy as is Aquarena spa. Brixen card included.

Cons: No fault of Nives, in fact a potential problem for them. The Brixen Card no longer includes cable car up Plose in winter (it does in Summer). This put almost €60 per day on our holiday costs (just for 2 people). Brixen was so quiet this year with very few tourists, as were the Plose huts (Bars, restaurants). This cannot be good for hotels or businesses as well as pricing tourists out of the area.

Best stay I have experienced in Italy

Pros: Modern and well kept facilities, great people who greeted me and my children on all occasions. Very good base from which to explore the Dolomites. Brixen is sizeable enough to have all the amenities you will need and yet not so touristy that you still get a local feel. I'm sure we will be back! Make sure to make use of the free pass for the local pool, we visited in Winter and the warm outdoor pool is great and different!

Cons: Everything was great except the prices are a bit steep but actually it is already good value for the region.

I would stay no where else on my next visit to Brixen.

Pros: This is a top place to stay. Breakfasts were a joy (and came in a beautiful wooden box) fresh fresh local produce and used no disposable containers. We could cook our own eggs! Hard boiled to take on a walk or scrambled suited us. Free bikes! Back packs and sticks to borrow! free coffee pods you can top up. Quiet location within a short walk along the river to the old town. etc etc

Cons: A longer stay.

Pros: Staying here felt just like being in a home away from home, we barely wanted to leave! The terrace is wonderfully spacious and beautifully furnished, making it a perfect spot to relax. The staff’s helpfulness and friendliness were truly outstanding. We will definitely be returning!

Cons: There is no any.

Lovely stay with easy access to the centre of Brixen

Pros: We had a lovely stay here. Although the room was on the small side we had a large balcony on two sides which meant there was enough space for 4 people. The kitchen was well equipped and the room was very clean. The beds were very comfy. It was good value for money as our stay included the Brixen card (free use of the Plose cable car and local swimming pool) plus the accommodation had bikes you could use for free and a laundry for guests. The staff were helpful and friendly. Easy access to the centre of Brixen and on a bus route for getting to the cable car. We would definitely stay here again.

Great apartment

Pros: Very kind welcome, clean apartment, lovely terrace, comfortable beds, free bikes to use, free cable car pass and pool entrance. We really felt at home.

Nice and comfortable stay.

Pros: Jessica was really nice and the house was pretty. She even managed to arrange a wine tasting tour for us in the last minute. There is a big swimming pool as well but we didn't have a chance to use it because of our schedule. If I come back, I will choose to stay here again!

Cons: The place is bit far away from the town so it is better to have a car during hot summer.

Excellent stay

Pros: Clean, quiet, with a mountain view. The receptionists were very helpful. The location is very close to the centre. It's nice to take a walk along the river to the other side of the town. Parking is included. Overall, an excellent stay.

Cons: Could add a chopping board for cooking.

Pros: The property was very comfortable, and the staff were attentive, the breakfast in the morning was lovely. We would stay again
