Dolomiti Urban Lodge - casa Marmolada

Pros: The apartment is entirely covered in wood panels, making it extremely cosy. The kitchen is well-equipped and functional. A pellet stove sits in a corner and keeps the whole space warm throughout the stay. The double bed is comfortable (we haven't slept in the two single beds in the other room). The windows face the main street (we haven't heard any noise from it) and the mountains, which were very, very nice. A welcome surprise for us was the washing machine, which also serves as a dryer. The wifi served us well, as we had video conferences with no troubles. The parking place is public, but we haven't had any issues finding a spot during our stay. The surrounding area is well served with shops and restaurants. Skiing slopes' access (Alleghe, Civetta) is 8 mins away by car, very convenient. Last but not least, the hosts: incredibly responsive, proactive, and kind! <3

Cons: The one thing we've missed was a place to sit and relax during the day (such as a sofa). The space doesn't allow for it, though, so its lack is more than understandable.

Cons: La porta del bagno che non si chiudeva

Perfetto chalet di montagna

Pros: La cosa che colpisce di più entrando è il rivestimento di legno perfino sul soffitto, che ti fa subito entrare nell’atmosfera di montagna, insieme al fuoco della stufa a pellet. Anche il bagno fa la sua bella figura, completamente nuovo e con un box doccia molto grande. L’appartamento nel complesso è molto accogliente e comodo, perché gli spazi, sebbene non enormi, sono ben organizzati. Gentilissimi i proprietari che hanno risolto immediatamente dei piccoli problemi.

Cons: La cameretta era priva di finestre e la camera aveva un materasso molto rigido e i cuscini molto bassi. La stufa a pellet aveva il timer impostato per spegnersi alle 21.30 e nel giro di mezz’ora la casa era già fredda, e riaccendendosi alle 5 di mattina, il rumore del getto d’aria ha svegliato tutti (consigliati i tappi per le orecchie).
