Fairytale farm

Pros: This place is like a fairytale, situated on the top of a hill overlooking the beautiful Gufidaun. The hosts are lovely, kind, full of useful infornation and very friendly. It really felt like home staying there. They even offer to bring you fresh bread in the morning if you want to order some. You can see that this has been in the family for a very long time and the history of the farm is fascinating. The location is perfect for discovering the Dolomites, and if you have a dog, they are dog friendly. The apartment is spacious, cozy and clean. And you have a big balcony to enjoy the beautiful view of the town and the valley. Thank you for having us and thanks for the honey! We are definitely coming back here when we return to the Dolomites.

Awesome place to stay in the Western Dolomites!

Pros: We loved our stay on the farm at Moarhof Gufidaun! Our hosts Margareth and Karl were so warm and welcoming. The apartment was spotlessly clean and extremely well-equipped for self-catering. We loved all the extra touches that made our stay so special: the fresh flowers, the welcome basket of home made honey and jam, the chance to order fresh farm milk and eggs, the cheese and meat platter. The property is a working farm (we loved meeting the animals) located above Chiusa with fabulous views of the valley and close to many hiking trails in the Western Dolomites. Margareth had a basket of information prepared for guests, but also took a personal interest in providing us advice on what to do in the area. I would highly recommend Moarhof Gufidaun!

Cons: As the property notes, you will be staying on a working farm so there may be more flies than you're used to.

Pros: The hosts were very nice to us. On the first day, they gave us a gift of honey and jam made on their farm. One night, they even knocked on our door to bring us a cheese and bacon platter with different kinds of bread and apple strudel for dessert. When one of us got hurt, they provided bandages and medicine. The rooms are spacious, and the beds are comfortable. They also gave us salt and olive oil upon request. They have a very cute dog, plenty of parking space, and a supermarket nearby (about 5 minutes by car). We highly recommend this place for your next skiing trip!

Amazing family holiday, excellent hosts

Pros: Margareth and Karl were an absolute delight to stay with. Best hosts ever! the property is stunning, with a great view, fully equipped for a long term stay. Our 2 year old son enjoyed a lot seeing the farm animals. Maergareth also got toys for him to play with. We had fresh milk, cheese, jam and honey from their own farm. It was a great family getaway and we will come back for sure

Pros: Everything was so great! Margareth is a super host. Well equipped apartment with excellent view from the balcony. You can buy even the freshest milk there from their farm. We also liked all the animals on the farm. Highly recommended!

Pros: Huge space, perfect view, possibility to try and buy local and homemade products, possibility to care about animals, silent surrounding. Hospitality of the Owner was extraordinary. Only 35-40 min by car to Val Gardena skiing center.

Pros: Il maso si trova in una posizione strategica con una vista bellissima. I proprietari sono persone veramente gentili ed accoglienti, ci hanno dato la possibilità di assaggiare i loro buonissimi prodotti e abbiamo molto apprezzato i dolci fatti in casa che ci hanno offerto il giorno di Natale.
