Garni Bachlerhof

Pros: The room was very clean, spacious, and well kept. My bed was really comfortable and the room even had a view of people skiing. They give complementary breakfast which was so good and the hosts are so sweet.

Pros: Very cosy and home-like guest house with spectacular view and easy foot access to Kronplatz cable car. The room is clean and nice, you can enjoy your stay while listening to birds singing, watching rainbow and paragliders getting ready. Breakfast is continental and the lady also brings each guest a plate with local meats&cheeses, which is very tasty and nourishing. All food is local and delicious. We loved our stay very much and it was easy to drive to the Lake Braies & Dobiacco, Ortisei (Seceda cable car), Maddalena val de Fünes... Just walking around was also very confortable, there is a small supermarket and restaurants in the neighbouring town Bruneck and a pizzeria just across the corn field.

Pros: Very accommodating staff. Allowed me to have breakfast earlier than is usual for the hotel to allow me to start hiking earlier. Very nice rooms.

An obvious gem in the heart of the Dolomites

Pros: Garni Bachlerhof is perfectly located at the center of everything you could wish to do in the Dolomites—whether it’s hiking, biking, or just soaking in the stunning scenery. The rooms are spotlessly clean, modern, and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a truly comfortable stay. We loved how the traditional charm of the building is preserved on the ground floor—well-kept and tastefully updated—while the upper floors offer beautifully renovated, modern rooms with a sleek design and great attention to detail. The breakfast buffet had everything we needed to start the day right, with a generous spread of breads, yoghurts, and condiments. What really stood out, though, was the warm and attentive service from the staff. Despite its 2-star rating, our experience felt five-star all the way. We wholeheartedly recommend Garni Bachlerhof to anyone visiting the area—it’s a real standout, and we’d return in a heartbeat

Cons: We have nothing negative to say, just wished we for stayed longer!

Pros: Very well renovated facility with great amenities and good staff. The breakfast area was perfectly connected to the exterior which was great in summer months. The staff was very helpful with all our needs and questions.

Cons: There is a potential upgrade on the breakfast side since they have great facilities and what we could see a full professional like kitchen there could be some variety on the warm dishes during breakfast.

Pros: Everything was perfect! Bachlerhof is located next to the ski slopes. The room bas very nice, clean and equiped. Breakfast was very good and the staff is very polite.

Pros: The place was easily accessible, the garden is nice, and the building itself is very cozy. Staff are friendly. It is also near places to eat.

Cons: Would have been great to at least have a water heater in the rooms or somewhere to be able to have a nice, warm drink before bed. Could have had an additional pillow for one person.

Perfect stay

Pros: The location was perfect. Very close to the cablecar to go to Kronplatz. Perfect location to start hiking. Some restaurants and bars are at walking distance. If you have a car, you have a lot of facilities in a range of 15 minutes. On our last day, we wanted to leave at 7am. This was not a problem and they made breakfast a little bit sooner for us. The breakfast was also very good. The chambre and bathroom have enough space. There was also a big balcony to enjoy the view.
