Clean, comfortable and quiet. Astonishing views.

Wonderful rifugio

Pros: Rifugio Palafavera...! The best rifugio in Alta via 1. We were having a tough time hiking when we visited Palafavera because of long rain walk and also because of my husband's sickness(tonsilitis). But arriving there, everything went well. The hotel facility was so good, we had a really deep sleep, and he recovered from the cold and had a good condition. Bed was really clean and shower facility was really clean and cozy. Even the dinner was really good. I recommend strongly alta via 1 trekkers to visit here and have a good rest of the middle of trekking course.

Top location, very cosy room!

Pros: We were there for a ski weekend. Location top! Direct on the piste...room Nr. 7, Civetta!. Room was very cosy. Beautiful view on the mountains and slopes...Breakfeast ok, I am not a picky pearson, can live with basics, but the breakfast was preety poor. Staff frendly. Skiroom new, heated. Parking very big. No problems. The place has everything you need for a ski weekend.

Celé ubytování Palafavera bylo skvělé, čisté, vynikající jídlo a hlavně milý a ochotný personál

Pros: Všechno bylo skvělé. Personál vlídný, ochotný pomoci. Snídaně vynikající a i večeři, kterou jsme měli byla skvělá. Pokoje čisté, pohodlné, útulné. Koupelna a záchod také pěkné a čisté

Cons: v koupelně chyběl fén, ale to nebyl žádný problém

Pros: I was surprised to see some not-so-great reviews for this rifugio. I had a great stay! Kind staff, clean and quiet room, and a huge breakfast! Didn’t eat dinner, so can’t comment on that. I felt safe as a solo female traveler. It was very quiet there which I liked. I thought it would be busier given its close proximity to the road, but nope!
