Excellent day in a beautiful location very close to the town centre

Pros: The location the surrounding and the views. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was good.

Cons: The fact that there is no lift.

Picturesque lodge in the perfect location to see the Dolomites.

Charming getaway near Cortina

Pros: Cosy room with almost everything you need. Only thing missing is an airco when it gets really hot. Sounds from other rooms are audible but not too bad if your neighbors are a little decent. Breakfast was really good and the surroundings are really relaxing. The little terrace was also really nice.

Cons: It is a bit far from the village and uphill quite a bit. We drove the car down the hill and then walked 20 mins right into the charming village along a pedestrian road.

Blissfully peaceful

Pros: Baita Fraina is a wonderful place to stay, the staff are friendly, the beds are comfy and the shower was delightful. But the thing that really hits you when you’re there is the beautiful sense of peace and views to die for in every direction. We would love to stay there again one day

A peaceful and scenic stay just outside Cortina with a spacious room, great breakfast, and beautiful views

Pros: We really enjoyed the peaceful location of Baita Fraina with its beautiful mountain views. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable — a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. Breakfast was a highlight, with a good selection and the option to order freshly made scrambled eggs and espresso. The quiet surroundings and cozy atmosphere made for a very relaxing stay.

Cons: While the overall experience was positive, the attitude of the staff could have been a bit warmer and more welcoming. Additionally, the location, though scenic, is about a 15-minute walk downhill to the center of Cortina — which means a somewhat steep walk back uphill, especially after a long day. This may be something to keep in mind depending on your mobility or plans.

Pros: The breakfast , the service, and the views of the mountains were splendid.

Cons: A personal thing perhaps but the mattress on the bed seemed a little too soft

Pros: The location is totally the best for us. There you can deep dive into the Dolomites spirit. It's not a hotel it's best that a hotel. The landscape and the view are the best. From there you can see 5 tore and Cortina's three terraces. We recommended the place very hot.

Luxurious Alpine Style Accommodation

Pros: Diego was a brilliant host, friendly and made us feel at home. The dinner was our favourite over our Europe trip. Breakfast was perfect. The attention to detail on the finishes within the hotel were quite remarkable. This is certainly a luxurious alpine style hotel.

Cons: In the middle of summer it can get quite warm in the bedroom. Opening the doors/windows would have made it cooler.

A peaceful stay in a quiet, scenic location—perfect for relaxing.

Pros: Cozy alpine charm and stunning mountain views. The location is peaceful, though having a car is quite necessary to get around easily. Breakfast was decent, but could use a bit more variety or refinement to match the overall experience.
