Pros: Lovely new spa and excellent massages. Very friendly staff. Family room was ideal for the four of us with bunk beds for the kids.

Cons: Shame it didn’t have a restaurant for dinner. Walk into town is along a fairly busy road with no proper pavement.

Cozy stay in Cortina

Pros: Hotel Columbia was great for a short stay in Cortina. We had 3 people on the trip, our room had a double bed and a single bed, both were very comfortable. It was a little bit snug but there was still enough floor space to fit all the suitcases. The shower had good water pressure, and the room was cozy. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was also delicious with plenty of options. It's a short 10-15min walk into Cortina city centre. Be mindful that there is a lot of construction currently for the 2026 Paralympic Winter Games, and so many of the small pedestrian bridges are closed off. The main ones where cars drive through are still open. If you are driving, there are carparks right outside the hotel, or in the carpark just next door.

Cons: There are no washing machines within the hotel, but hotel staff recommended us going to Lavapiù, which is a 24H laundromat in a nearby town around 15mins drive away.

Pros: Clean and comfortable room. Hotel was of close proximity to cortina town about 5 mins by car and 10 mins by foot. Staff were polite. Amazing breakfast selection. It is a pity we did not get to use the spa facilities (additional charges apply). Parking is available on premises too.

Comfortable, delightful, memorable.

Pros: Family owned and operated. Very good conversations and information from the concierge. He was happy to chat and provide a local’s insight into life in Cortina.

Cons: Everything was great. It is a short 10 minute walk into the centre along the road. Something to consider if you have mobility issues.
