Hotel Pontechiesa

Pros: Traditional and cosy. Very close to Olympic Sliding Centre and Curling stadium. 5 minutes walk to town.

Cons: Shower was a bit small.

Pros: Excellent service from the reception to restaurant and cleaning department. They have a very tallented chef who cooked evrey day different.

A decent place to stay.

Pros: Great location with free parking. Very clean room and beakfast was good!

Cons: Staff was a hit or miss. Not always helpful. Matress too soft (personal preference ofcourse).

Overall a great hotel.

Pros: Good hotel with a good location. Breakfast was nice and the staff were helpful. Rooms were spacious and well set out. Spa looked good, but you need to tell the hotel in advance if you want to use it as it’s not on all the time - perhaps in ski season it is.

Cons: Bathrooms could benefit from some additional shelving, but I would not let that put you off.

Pros: This is a lovely hotel very conveniently located in Cortina d’Ampezzo. The town is a short walk away and there are lots of shops and restaurants. The staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive. We checked out very early on our last day and they kindly organised a packed lunch for us as we would miss breakfast. There was also coffee waiting for us on a table downstairs! The room was clean and frequently restocked with fresh towels and sheets. There was a fridge to store any drinks or snacks and plenty of storage space for clothes etc. The room is small but it is perfect for a couple. We were able to enjoy all the local hikes and activities with ease and rarely used our car when in and around Cortina.

Cons: The hairdryer was quite tricky to use and the shower a little bit small. These are very minor points as overall the hotel is great and ticked all of our boxes.

Pros: Good location, just outside the center, but in quiet street near the river. Super attentive and helpful staff. All request / issues solved at once.

Cons: Single room on the 3st floor is quite small and dark. Very bad sound isolation between the rooms. Waken up together with your neighbors at 6 AM!

Pros: The hotel is cozy, clean and comfortable, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a warm ski room and a nice spa section available with a sauna, steam bath and relaxing showers. Perfect after skiing all day! The food was good and the location was excellent between center town and the gondola (short walk to both). We were very happy with our choice. Some rooms are perhaps a bit more out of date (though very clean), but that’s just a part of the Alpine charm. There was lots of room for bags and big closets in our room, as well as a balcony overlooking the mountains. Amazing.

Pros: Staff excellent. Spotlessly clean. Great location.

Cons: 3 person room was a little tight. One complementary spa ticket for 4 or more nights might be nice.

A great value hotel in Cortina

Pros: This was a lovely, good value hotel only a ten minute walk from central Cortina. The room balcony overlooks the river and mountains. The room was great for my needs and the staff were very helpful when I needed anything. Breakfast was very good and a lot of variety. Would stay again for sure.
