Spacious and nice room

Astonishing location: calmness, nature, mountains

Pros: We stayed here 2 days in Aug. Absolutely astonishing location - calmness, nature, mountains. Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfasts. Good rooms. Very close to many mountain trails and lakes you would want to visit.

Pros: We went during in October when the place was not staffed - we would love to come back when it is fully open! But everything was organised well and we didn't have any problems, check-in and check-out was very smooth, they even had set up a way to pay the city tax online if you didn't have exact change. Because the restaurant was closed, they left simple breakfast in the room and you could also buy some food downstairs which was nice.

Cons: A few small things missing, like no tissues in the room and no mugs - so there was no way to drink the tea or coffee that they had provided :(

Pros: Everything: stating from the dinner, to the room to the breakfast

Cons: Since it lies on the street it could be loud if you want to sleep with the opened windows

Pros: The cleanliness of the room was very good, everything was tidy and maintained daily. Although we did not make reservations for dinner the staff found us a free table.

Cons: The location is right next to the road so you can expect car noise during the evening, as well as the headlights in the bedroom every time a car passes by during the night. The noise from the restaurant on the ground floor was loud, including the staff talking very loudly after the evening shift ended, right under the room window. Although we were greeted with a collection of teas in the room, the kettle was dirty from previous guests and therefore unusable.

Definitely recommend.

Pros: Free parking on site, good location just out of the main centre, clean facilities and lovely staff. Breakfast was excellent in the morning, great variety and very tasty. Restaurant for dinner was fantastic, definitely worth booking. Coffee/tea facilities were great. Comfy beds and good side bathrooms.

Cons: No fridge - not essential of course!

The place to stay at the Dolomites - book it!

Pros: The food here was unreal - definitely recommend making the most of the included breakfast and booking into the restaurant. The staff were so friendly and they clearly care about the hotel and visitors. I'll be booking again!

Excellent

Pros: Beautiful, quiet, peaceful location only a short drive/bus ride from Cortina d'Ampezzo. Nice to have 13th century church and natural water spring directly opposite. The building feels more like a mini castle than a hotel. Do not let the word rifugio mislead you into thinking the facilities will be very basic because they are certainly not. Great hotel for family with fantastic food.

Pros: The hotel is very comfortable and has an excellent restaurant. Staff are very friendly, skiis were delivered directly to the hotel.

Cons: The hotel is a bit far away from the Cortina d'ampazzo town (20min drive).
