Pros: Really friendly staff, nice terrace with mountain views, breakfast was quite good. The room itself was small but sufficient. The bathroom was rather tiny but again, sufficient and what you would expect for a 'hut' type accommodation. The restaurant food was lovely. Location is somewhat remote - it's a 20 minute drive to the nearest small town down some very steep and windy Italian mountain roads.

Cons: WiFi was a little spotty and the generator went out a few times but only for short periods so it wasn't really an issue for us.

Hidden Gem in the Dolomites – Affordable and Peaceful, But Hard to Reach

Pros: I recently stayed at this cozy mountain cabin in the Dolomites, and overall, it was a great experience. The cabin is by far the most affordable option in the area, offering a great value for those looking to stay in this beautiful region without breaking the bank. The cabin itself is charming, with rustic decor and a very welcoming atmosphere. The surrounding views are absolutely stunning – you’re really immersed in nature here. It’s perfect for anyone looking to escape and enjoy peace and quiet in the mountains.

Cons: However, the road leading to the chalet is a bit tricky. It’s narrow, winding, and can be quite challenging, especially if you’re not used to mountain roads. Breakfast could be better. There is no mobile signal, but they have wifi.

Pros: A mountain hut in the middle of nowhere - magical. Great atmosphere, especially in the dining room. Good food, amazing staff. Pet friendly.

I would definitively stay again!

Pros: Very cosy place in beautiful mountain setting, in old mountain cabin dating back to 1860, with recently refurbished and renovated comfortable rooms. Good restaurant & breakfast. The place is in remote location, but worth the experience! Hiking trails nearby.

Cons: In winter could be tricky to access the place due mountain road conditions.

Pros: Very personable staff made us feel very welcome and were understanding of our later arrival due to traffic location is beautiful- very much off the beaten track

Pros: what a wonderful experience it was for us. This is a family run business who do everything to please their visitors. they cant do enough for you. spectacular views from the hotel. wonderful walks in the area. Locals also use and eat at the hotel and everyone around comes for their barbecue grills. this time of year is a good time to visit before the summer holiday season. Can recommend a stay here here to anyone who likes to visit a place and also meet the local people.

Pros: Incredibly beautiful spot, cute and comfortable room, comfy bed also, amazing food with super fair prices. The owner (I think she was the owner) was a welcoming and super nice woman who took care of everything and made of our stay such a good experience.
