Pros: The room was brand new and super clean. It had all the amenities. Breakfast was great. The staff was super nice and welcoming. There's a lot of small touches that show they really want you to spend a nice stay like printing the weather report in a little morning gazette. They also give you a card to enjoy all the activities in Brixen which is very nice. The garden at the back and the pool were also a nice place to relax after a gruelling hike.

Cons: The room we got was under the roof and there was no AC. We slept with the window open. At 3am there was a lot of noise outside from the store that got delivery.

Pros: A nice place in a historic guesthouse with renovated rooms. Close to interesting sites in the Dolomites. Friendly owners. Free parking.

Cons: Breakfast wasn't very varied. The same every day. There was a distinct smell in the room (perhaps from the boards on the wall).

Lovely hosts and great breakfast

Pros: Thé breakfast was delicious with little cakes freshly prepared and homemade jam. The variety of food offered was good and everything seemed of good quality. Parking space on site was convenient for us. The owners are extremely friendly and allowed us to leave our car at their site during our 5-day bike trip. Rooms were clean and bed comfortable.

Cons: The shower in our room was quite small and the bathroom overall was a bit small (the entire room was under the roof). The blinds in the bedroom were a little weird to use.

The perfect place for a good time in the mountains

Pros: Lovely setting in a small, pretty village. Our host was always ready with relevant recommendations for hikes and sightseeing, and every morning a personalised sheet of recommendations was waiting for us at our breakfast table. His tips were spot on each time and we have had 5 wonderful days. We highly recommend Hotel Tauber and the host family.

Beautiful property, lovely owners, fabulous breakfast, peaceful and nurturing vibe.

Pros: Everything - comfortable beds, lovely building and decor, lovely family who own, live and work there. It has a lovely feel, calm and peaceful. Breakfast was generously plentiful, great quality food. we loved it!
