Pleasant Accommodation with a Great Atmosphere and Excellent Food

Pros: It is an authentic traditional inn where you can immediately feel the history connected to the old Brenner route. The place has a unique atmosphere and preserves its traditional character. A big plus is the very comfortable mattresses – even a person around two meters tall can sleep comfortably in the bed, which is certainly not a given. I also appreciated the smooth late check-in and the parking available directly at the hotel. The cuisine is excellent, honest, and homemade. The great wine and good beer only enhance the overall gastronomic experience. Breakfast is served from 7:30 a.m. and is truly excellent – high quality, tasty, and sufficiently varied. Overall, a very pleasant accommodation with a wonderful atmosphere.

A wonderful South Tyrolean welcome in a great hotel

Pros: There are lots of great things about the Gasthof Thaler, such as the rooms, the views, the location and the food. But the best thing is the amazing welcome you get. So supportive, helpful and friendly. There is also a great bus service every hour from the train station to the doors of the hotel.

Pros: Delcious home made apple juice, bread and jam at breakfast.

Good stay but a bit expensive

Pros: Family run hotel, nice Tyrol location, local produce in the meals. Spoke English for us. Interesting building, good breakfast

Cons: Was quite expensive for fairly standard facilities.

Very nice Village

Pros: It was nice stay . Staff were helpful and generous Village is quite and clean I liked it Village is far from main towns so could be positive for one looking for calm places or bad if you want all facilities and services nearby.

Cons: No lift for 2nd floor but staff are there to support you for heavy lagauages. Need more variety of food in the breakfast

Pros: Excellent position at the main road Brenner - Brixen, clean rooms, friendly staff.

Cons: No vegetable for breakfast

One night stopover

Pros: Welcoming staff and wholesome food. Reasonable prices. Convenient for a night stop.

Cons: The hotel is very dated and the regions icons are not to everyone's taste.

Nice authentic friendly old hotel with clean rooms and renovated bathrooms. Perfect for one night.

Pros: Nice authentic old bikers hotel (also for car drivers like us) with clean room and renovated bathroom. The hotel is run by a friendly family, young and old are working together to make the stay nice. We stayed one night during our journey to the Dolomites

a perfect place for a short trip

Pros: The cleanliness of the rooms and the kindness of the owners.

Cons: My bed (the third single one) was not very comfortable. At breakfast, I expected a larger variety of food (even if loved the quality)
