Pros: Val di Non is a treat itself and this small family hotel with its homey atmosphere just amplifies our positive impression of the area; the small indoor pool with mineral water is a bonus

Nice family run traditional hotel in a great location for our tour of the mountains.

Pros: Traditional family run hotel, beautiful location overlooking the mountains. Nice small indoor swimming pool. Set menu offered at a reasonable cost for evening meal which was very good, continental breakfast was adequate. Room was well proportioned with a small balcony. Free open parking.

Cons: No air con in the room

Pros: I liked both the facilities and the staff. For the price, considering also the hotel with the same number of stars in the neighbourhood, the hotel it's beatiful. The staff it's super, professional, very familiar and eager to please the customers.

Cons: The only thing that I didn't like it's the moquete in our rooms.

Pros: Top notch stay. Lovely. And, Christian went out of his way to help me with a late check in. Sad that I was only here one night. I would love to come back for a longer stay to ski or bike tour.

Amazing stay in a beautiful rustic hotel

Pros: This was my first road trip spanning multiple countries in Europe, which meant a lot of apprehension to find the right hotel to stay in. La Montanina was the perfect mix of a budget friendly rustic hotel in the cute little mountain village of Malosco, Italy, and being within a day trip driving distance from Lake Como, Lake Garda and Venice in Italy, St. Moritz in Switzerland, and Innsbruck in Austria. This is a 70 year old property managed by Stefano Marini, who has worked here for the past 17 years. He, along with the rest of the staff, were incredibly helpful and hospitable during my stay over there. The entire property is very well maintained and clean with excellent insulation to make sure the rooms and common areas are cozy even in the bone chilling -12°c winter weather. I am definitely going to book this property again the next time I plan a trip in that part of the world.

Cons: Couple of things as an FYI for the hotel to look into: - The WiFi did not work at all during my stay because of the weak signal in my room. - The access code to the hotel entrance should be shared during check-in to make sure guests have it handy in case they arrive after the reception closes at 11.30 at night. Stefano was kind enough to pickup my call post midnight to open the hotel main door on New Year's Eve, but that was an avoidable situation per my understanding.

Altamente raccomandato

Pros: Gentilezza, disponibilità e professionalità di tutto lo staff, dal personale addetto ai tavoli a quello delle pulizie ai gestori. Cucina davvero di alto livello. Colazioni con torte magistralmente fatte in casa. L'atmosfera è calda e cordiale.

Cons: Forse la posizione se non si ha un'auto è un po' scomoda, ma tutta la zona è caratterizzata da salite piuttosto ripide.

Bellissimo soggiorno

Pros: Tutto molto curato. Conduzione familiare. Cibo ottimo. Veramente una vacanza rigenerante e anche il posto intorno offre tanto da vedere
