Charming stay with friendly staff and lovely breakfast.

Pros: Charming old-world atmosphere with superb breakfast and friendly staff. We valued the daily walk recommendation and offer of lists to the start. Good car park on site.

Cons: Our room was particularly noisy both from the road and hotel noise (vacuuming at c0700?). We did notice that we alone did not benefit from a second sound-proofing door. We also struggled with the firm mattress but a toller was provided which helped.

Fantastic cosy and relax hotel

Pros: Historic hotel, like going in the past, but equipped with all you need. Really quiet, fantastic breakfast, specious room but mostly really cosy with nice spa and swimming pool

Refined and old world brought into the modern day with impeccable taste.

Pros: A stunning and historical property, excellently maintained. We loved the lift, decor, old world refined luxury. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Garden and pool were beautiful. Hotel was refined and felt exclusive.
