Posthotel Lamm

Posthotel Lamm is a four star destination (structural renovation upgrade in 2024) in the pedestrian area of Vipiteno city centre. We offer a modernised pool, spa area, dining facilities as well as lobby. Our hotel is a 5-minute drive from the Monte Cavallo ski area, its rooms are decorated in a classic Alpine style, and WiFi is free throughout. With light wood furniture, rooms provide a TV with both satellite and pay-per-view channels. The private bathroom comes with a hairdryer and toiletries. Some have a balcony overlooking the mountains, others are located in an annex building. The hotel features a free on-site wellness centre including a hot tub, Turkish bath and Finnish sauna. It also has a restaurant, which serves both international specialities and dishes from South Tyrol. Private parking spaces are available at the accommodation (reservation is not possible) and undergroundparking subject to charges. Golf Club Vipiteno is a 10-minute drive away. A bus stop in front of the property has services to Bolzano, 70 km away.

Pros: Good look and design of the hotel good breakfast excellent dinner menu

Cons: opening time of the spa 12-8Pm parking is very expensive in the garage (most likely you wont find a normal spot at the hotel)

Stylish hotel with excellent facilities & location.

Pros: The hotel is stylish and the staff are helpful. There’s paid parking available on site and the spa facilities were a lovely treat. Best location in town. Excellent breakfast!

Cons: We were in a standard room in the annex. It was ok. A bit dated. Very soft mattress and the curtains let light in. No good for sleeping. A bit disappointing for over 200 euros per night.

A perfect experience

Pros: First of all the staff was very friendly and especially the girl from the reception who made my check-in when I arrived. The hotel is beautiful, the spa and the pool are really good if you need to relax a little bit. Ths room was nice and the bed was really comfortable. The location was PERFECT, exactly in the center of Vipiteno just 2 minutes walking from the christmas market area! Also there are some spaces for parking for free at the hotel, but they have also an underground paid garage. The bar was really nice and the breakfast good and tasty! All in all everything was amazing, I would recommend this hotel for sure!

Pros: We had a lovely stay at Hotel Lamm — perfectly located right in the heart of Vipiteno, on the main street near the iconic Zwölferturm. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the hotel’s design is truly charming. A special shout-out to the restaurant team for their professionalism and kindness, and to the housekeeping staff, always friendly and attentive. Overall, a very pleasant stay in a beautiful setting.

Cons: Just a couple of small suggestions that could make the experience even better. For guests staying in the annex, it would be incredibly helpful to have a hairdryer available in the SPA area. Stepping back out into the courtyard in the cold after using the wellness facilities can be a bit uncomfortable, and this simple addition would make a big difference. Also, while we appreciated the convenience of the annex, the room standard there feels slightly below the 4-star level of the main building.

The hotel is definitely worth the money, but the point is not even that, but that it is simply super!

Pros: Excellent hotel! Situated in the very centre, the rooms are spacious, with a modern interior, they clean several times a day, all staff is very professional. An interesting SPA area, where you want to relax all day, but there are so many attractions around that it is impossible. By the way, the ski lift is within walking distance. I was a little surprised by the restaurant's work - in the evening until 20:00, but everything is very tasty! Unfortunately, we stayed here for only two days, although we really wanted to have more time here.
