Majestic - Unique Spa Resort

A nice hotel with some drawbacks

Pros: A cozy family hotel, a spacious room, good breakfast and dinner, and very friendly staff. We liked the outdoor pool in the spa area. The ski storage room is well organized; each room has its own separate locker with a boot-drying station. The transfer to the ski lift is also well arranged — in the morning we never waited more than five minutes, and after skiing the vehicle was always waiting in the parking lot near the lifts.

Cons: I was not very satisfied with the children’s area; it seemed poorly maintained — some of the games were not working, all the ping-pong balls were broken. What disappointed me the most was the lack of privacy in the bathroom. The bathroom doors were completely transparent. I traveled with my kid, and it was very uncomfortable not being able to take a shower privately while he was in the room. Privacy standards may vary by region, but the hotel should take into account the needs of guests who feel uncomfortable showering in front of their children, and at least provide curtains to cover the bathroom’s glass walls.

Pros: Pretty much everything was absolutely wonderful! Our highlights were the SPA area, the proximity to ski lift and public transport and the super friendly staff.

Wonderful value for money

Pros: I was blown away by this hotel. The staff were all so helpful, the food was very good and the facilities were lovely.

Pros: Beautiful property close to the mountains. Gorgeous wellness area with nature pool, sauna and cosy relax rooms. Elegant bar area. My dog was warmly welcomed. Very friendly staff.

Cons: I had half-board and the breakfast and afternoon buffet were exceptionally generous. The evening menu was disappointing in taste and presentation. Unfortunately I got terribly sick shortly after my stay with a campylobacter jejuni infection - a bacterial infection contracted mostly from poultry/meat or improper food handling.

Lovely welcome and pretty perfect service throughout

Pros: The place really makes a great first impression, the reception has a blackboard with the name of each guest arriving that day, a small but very thoughtful gesture. Very large room with lovely wooden furniture, a bath tub that was much appreciated after hiking. They even have a gym which can be used on rainy days. Super close to the Kronplatz 2000 cable car station. They pride themselves on being a family hotel and they excel in making the guests feel like part of that family. The champagne breakfast is very impressive and so is the cocktail menu in their evening bar.

Thoroughly enjoyable luxury stay.

Pros: The nice big room/suite. Friendliness of staff. Spa area. Great breakfast buffet and dinner menu. Nice, small portions too. Appreciate that at my age.

Cons: Car parking was somewhat sparse.
