Amazing location - worth a stay

Pros: Incredible location, stunning views. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice heated indoor pool and spa area. Worth a visit for the views alone.

Cons: A bit tired and breakfast quite basic but generally it was charming and a wonderful place.

Pros: Absolutely amazing unique stay on top on the mountain. Views are fantastic. Restaurant was just fine, nothing special.

Pros: The location is beautiful. They have a garage for motorcycles.

Cons: The road to the hotel isn't in the best condition. The menu could be better with more dishes to choose from.

Pros: The location of the hotel is really unique. High up the mountain with nice views of Bolzano and the surrounding valley. Our room was charming and clean, the bed was comfortable and we had a balcony with views over the whole valley. I liked that the hotel staff reserved a table for us every night at the restaurant without us having to ask!

Cons: The hotel's restaurant menu is really small with only three main dishes, so beware of that if you plan to stay for longer periods of time. Getting to and from the hotel by going up and down the mountain by car can be a long journey (+-30 minutes)

Pros: The staff were all exceptional and accommodating. The pool was lovely! The breakfast delicious :)

Pros: Fantastic view. Since the spa was not open we had a room upgrade to a panoramic view room.

Cons: The choice of food at breakfast was a bit scarce. What there was ,was of good quality.

The hotel lives up to its name

Pros: Location is amazing! All the staff were very friendly and some spoke English which was helpful. Fantastic views from the terrace and rooms. Relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Food was very good, excellent choice at breakfast.

Cons: Nothing to dislike

We received a warm welcome to magnificent views

Pros: We were given a complementary upgrade and absolutely loved the view from our room on the 2nd floor. The room balcony and windows faced the morning sun and we were treated to a breathtaking view of the Dolomites mountains. We had dinner on the terrace while soaking in the summer evening air with 2-3 other tables of guests around us, so it wasn’t too busy and not noisy at all. The hotel tried hard to retain its old glamor and project a retro image - traditional carpets, elevator and 80s built-in hairdryer - which amused us. All in all, I’d recommend the hotel for the magnificent view and warm welcome from the reception.

Cons: The hotel has lost its grandeur over the years and now feels like it’s made for a short stay only. The sauna and relaxing area in the hotel’s basement gave the impression of being a facility for tired hikers and bikers to rest and relax, instead of being a spa hotel. Regardless, it is still value-for-money and the views are unmatched.

Pros: This place is perfect for motorcycles, it works as the best HUB for riding through all of the Italian alps. As a biker, you will appreciate the tranquility and quiet surroundings after a hard day on the noisy bike. The water in the shower has a proper pressure. The surroundings and the view is extremely stunning. You live on 1726 m! It's just awesome. The breakfast is very good, eggs, fruit, fresh bread, croissants, juices etc. The coffee is perfect. The personell was very accommodating and helpful. We felt extremely welcome and were treated very well. If you want to avoid the tourist-Hell and actually enjoy your holidays, this is for you.

Stunning Location

Pros: Without exception, all the staff were very friendly, helpful and polite. The cliff-top location of this hotel gives views that need to be seen to be believed. Relax with a coffee or a drink from the bar and then enjoy a good meal in the restaurant.
