Switzerland 🇨🇭

Good experience with very friendly and attentive staff.

Pros: The staff at this hotel is very friendly, attentive and well organized. For example: when I arrived I was greeted by name, even though it was my first time here. Or every time I went to breakfast, my room was made up when I returned, even though I did not put any sign outside the door and not always did the cleaning staff see me going down. The location is nice and quiet, albeit a little bit off the city centre. Also the service and communication before my arrival was excellent. A question and request I had was promptly answered and taken care of. Very good breakfast.

Cons: Wifi coverage could be a little bit improved. On the second floor it is sufficient, but can become a little bit tricky if you sit out on the balcony. A few oversized people I know would have had a hard time squeezing in between the wall and the shower when going to the toilet. For a normal sized person or even a medium heavy person, it should be OK, though.

Ambiance!

Pros: Somehow in the era of globalization and unification this hotel has retained its spirit - almost pre-war (pre-WWII). Very warm attitude towards guests. And a wonderful breakfast.

Cons: Our room didn't have air conditioning, but the alpine air was cool so the AC wasn't really needed.

We would definitely recommend this hotel!

Pros: Super personnel, Christa was so helpful and amazingly friendly and happy all the time. Great breakfast with self-made pies! We had a room on the top floor with a very large terrace which was amazing. Swimming pool was super even though temperature was rather cold. The sauna was the hottest I had during my stay in Italy, really nice!

Cons: Wifi connection wasn't the best in our room, but this is not really needed with a city as Merano to explore!

Pros: Great location. 15 minute walk into town or an easy bus service. Breakfast was beautifully homemade and had lots of options. Hotel was very clean and tidy. The staff were exceptional which made the stay very enjoyable.

Beauty of Merano

Pros: Lovely hotel on a beautiful spot. It stole my heart. Just like Merano it is a magic place to be. Especcialy when you a a nature lover. Wonderfull trees flowers and birds are all over. Owner and staff are realy nice people. Breakfast I must say 5 stars! Get back next year for sure.

Cons: It should be kept a secret. Tell no one. Keep it to yourself.
