Hotel Genziana

I wish I could stay a day or two longer to make full use of the facilities.

Pros: I like breakfast provided by the hotel with vast varieties of food to choose from as well as the dinner with three good options to choose from. I particularly like the location which is right in front of the bus stop for buses to/from Bolzano. And the morning mail on my dining table which provides weather forecast for the day and following two days as well as programs for the day and suggestion where to visit in the vicinity like South Tyrol Museum of Natural History. Finally, I enjoyed excursion with the hotel guide Lukas who accompanied me to take cable car to both Seceda and Alpe di Siusi on the first day as well as visiting Passo Giau on the following day and many other places with magnificent views!

Cons: Nothing I can think of.

Solo female traveler

Pros: The hotel was clan and tidy, with an excellent buffet breakfast. The hotel has a small lift to easy access rooms with luggage. It is conveniently located right across the road from the bus station and only a few minutes walk to both the Alpe di Suisi and Seceda cable cars. As a solo female traveller I felt safe walking around the area in the evening.

Perfect Location!!

Pros: We had a wonderful experience at Hotel Genziana! The location cannot be beat. It was close to the gondolas for all our hikes and close to great restaurant options. Parking was easy. Staff was super accommodating. Rooms were clean. Outdoor hot tub was an added bonus. Breakfast was delicious. Would recommend!

Felt very welcomed and comfortable in a great location and well appointed hotel.

Pros: Conveniently located to bus stop, gondolas and central to the town . Very friendly accomodating staff. Good food and nice bar with in and outdoor comfortable areas . Spa/ pool and sauna area excellent .

Cons: Air con a little sluggish in our room but not a dealbreaker .

Ortisei is an amazing, picturesque town and Hotel Genziana is the perfect place to stay in town!

Pros: This is a beautiful, clean hotel in a very charming town. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. The location is convenient to shopping, delicious restaurants, lovely walks, and the cable cars, funicular, and gondolas to nearby hikes and amazing vistas !

Perfect stay highly recommend

Pros: This hotel is located right in the centre of Ortisei which is perfect. Staff were amazing and the room were very clean. The breakfast was good it even had a station which you could do your own juicing which was great. I had dinner in their restaurant every night as the food was so good that for 30 euros you get a 5 course meal top restaurant quality. Couldn’t beat it! Amazing. The outdoor pool which is heated is located in a spot where you can relax and look at the mountains. So relaxing. Definitely recommend I will be back there some day.

Exceptional.

Pros: The staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was exceptional. Guest menu for dinner was good value and since we struggled to find somewhere else that was open we ate dinner at the hotel both nights and were happy we did. We loved the indoor and outdoor pools. A lovely surprise was the hotel provided Lukas the walking guide for the day and we had an awesome day with him. Room was large and bed was very comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Cons: Most of the shops were shut in the town so there was no atmosphere. Hotel was on the pricey side.
