Pros: The hotel is fantastic. The restaurant is outstanding. We booked breakfast and dinner and did not regret. The dinner is gourmet with 5-6 courses every night. The atmosphere in the restaurant is classy. The staff is very nice and friendly. They tried the accommodate and help us, as we travelled with our 4 months old son. The rooms are wooden, cosy and clean. The spa is fantastic with bio sauna, Finish sauna and steam bath.

Cons: The pool water was too cold.

Urlaubstraum mit vielen Wohlfühlmomenten

Pros: Der Aufenthalt im Hotel Starkenberg war rundum perfekt! Das gesamte Team war überaus freundlich, herzlich, nett, hilfsbereit und stets bemüht, unseren Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Das Zimmer war modern, extrem sauber und komfortabel eingerichtet. Das Frühstück vielfältig, frisch und lecker - hier blieb kein Wunsch offen. Für das Abendessen würde ich 11 von 10 Punke geben - einfach überdurchschnittlich gut. Die Lage des Hotels ist wunderschön mit traumhafter Aussicht über Schenna. Besonders erwähnenswert ist der traumhaft schöne Pool, der Innenpool und die Saunalandschaft. Ich kann das Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen und freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Aufenthalt!

Cons: Hier gibt es meiner Meinung nach nichts zu meckern.

Schenna ist ein schönes Dorf und die Wanderungsmöglichkeiten sind sehr gut.

Pros: das Esse war sehr gut und der Pool richtig schön mit einer guten Aussicht auf das Schloss.

Cons: Wir hatten das Zimmer leider in die falsche Richtung, das war schade.

Pros: Ein sehr herzlicher Empfang durch den Chef des Hauses! Das Frühstück war sehr gut! Das Abendessen war sehr gut und außergewöhnlich! Mann konnte diese Mahlzeit aus einer Tageskarte zusammenstellen! Für jeden etwas dabei!!!!

Tolles Hotel mit wunderschönem Außenbereich in bester Lage vom Schenna

Pros: Der sehr grosse Pool mit Aussicht ist besonders hervorzuheben. Auch das Frühstück und die Servicequalität bzw. Freundlichkeit insbesondere der Mitarbeiter in der Rezeption waren hervorragend.

Cons: Leider hatten wir ein Ost-Zimmer gebucht. Das liegt direkt an der ab morgens 6 Uhr bis nachts ca. 23 Uhr sehr lebhaft befahrenen Verdinser Strasse. Es war während unseres Aufenthalts sehr heiß, das Zimmer hat keine Klimaanlage, somit hatten wir viel Lärm bei offenen Fenstern. Ausschlafen konnten wir nur dann mit geschlossenen Fenstern, ein Mittagsschläfchen war daher auch nicht möglich. Aber: Das Hotel ist trotzdem sehr empfehlenswert, nur sollte man keine Ostzimmer buchen, wenn man luftig und kühl schlafen gewohnt ist.
