Brilliant base for hikes, with all the facilities of the town on the doorstep.

Pros: Excellent location to explore the region, with restaurants and bars nearby for the evening, but tucked away so it was quiet.

Pros: The location is fantastic, close to restaurants and ski lifts.

Cons: There was no hand soap in the bathroom and no washing up liquid in the kitchen. Also it would have been nice if non perishables like salt, pepper, oil etc were in the kitchen as to buy all of that for a weeks holiday only to know that it won't all get used seems like a waste.

Perfect apartment in the strict city center, ideal for visiting whole Val Gardena

Pros: Perfect location, 1 minute from the city center, with many restaurants, shops, 5 minutes walk to the bus station from which you can get anywhere in the Val Gardena to do any hiking you want. Upon arrival you get bus passes with which you can travel for free, and also entrance tickets to the municipial swimming pools complex (indoor and outdoor pools, perfect to relax your muscles after the hikes). The apartment itself is fully equiped, with functional kitchen, dishwasher, coffe maker, everything you need to have a pleasant stay. The furniture is traditional style and very solid, lots of storage possibilities for your clothes, and very comfortable beds. Great views, nice small balcony to have a morning coffee, watching the mountains. Perfect value for money, and on top of that a friendly welcome and quick check-in. Flawless wifi connection.

Cons: A washing machine would be useful. It is very convenient that you can arrive to the strict city center by your own car, and park it in the underground garrage, but due to limited space it can be tricky for the biggest cars to manouver there. But honestly, once I parked in this garrage, all was so conveniently close, that we did not need to use the car at all. The largest cars can use one of three parking places in front of the building!

Wonderful apartment in Ortisei

Pros: Really friendly welcome, very clean apartment, nice central location close to the funiculars. Bed was sufficiently comfortable and streets were quiet. Kitchen sufficiently equipped. Nice that I received a Val Gardena public transport pass and pool pass. Would definitely stay here again!

Pros: Bardzo przyjemny apartament, raczej czysty, chociaż widoczne ślady wilgoci w pomieszczeniach. Dobrze wyposażona kuchnia, bardzo dobre położenie.

Pros: Doskonała komunikacja z managerem, ładne mieszkanie, ciepłe, szybkie odpowiedzi na nasze prośby, praktyczna narciarnia, niedaleko od obu kolejek i spokojnego maisteczka z knajpami, dobrze wyposażona kuchnia.

Cons: Brak dostępu do basenu/sauny.

Tanti pro, pochi contro.

Pros: Posizione eccellente, ottima pulizia. Cucina accessoriata adeguatamente (c’è anche macchinetta del caffè) e pulizia molto accurata. Possibilità di portare il cane (a pagamento). Possibilità di cambio asciugamani un giorno a settimana. Host di poche parole ma gentile. Parcheggio sia coperto sia scoperto gratuito (appena fuori dalla zona a traffico limitato).

Cons: Mancanza del classico “libro delle istruzioni” per l’uso delle cose di casa (es. termostato, tapparelle, raccolta differenziata) e con consigli sulla vita in paese/nei dintorni. Mancanza di una scopa per la pulizia (ma non l’abbiamo neanche chiesta, abbiamo usato i panni swiffer che abbiamo dovuto acquistare).
