Stay COOPER l Capitol Rooms

Pros: Comfortable nice accommodation, everything is digital, so I didn't see any staff.

Great location and a comfortable stay

Pros: Great location, smack bang in the centre of town and only a short walk from the train and bus stations. The room was functional but pleasant, and the bed was actually very comfortable. There was a huge amount of cupboard space. There was a kitchen along the corridor with a fridge and cooking facilities if you needed them. Not the most luxurious place I've stayed but everything was clean and tidy and we had a good night's sleep. I think we were most impressed with the whizzy electronic entry to the doors that you can operate from your phone! It's a self-check in only hotel and it was all quite seamless. We arrived early to Bolzano and we were able to leave our bags in their central office before check in - which helped a lot. The location is really what sold it though - it is right where you need to be in the centre of town. Plenty of cafes and bakeries in the vicinity for breakfast.

Cons: We were not aware that our room was on the 3rd floor of the hotel - but that was up about 5 flights of stairs as the hotel does not start on the ground floor. We had a couple of heavy'ish suitcases and it was struggle to get them all the way up - but we are a little older! I guess young travellers might not mind that there is no lift!

A convenient option for those hiking in the Dolomites. Staff are excellent

Pros: The staff were incredibly helpful. They were very responsive via email, allowed us to store our bags for several days while we hiked in the Dolomites even though we weren’t staying again on the other end of the trip, and Marian in particular stayed a few minutes behind the office’s closing time to allow us to retrieve our bags when we came back. That was so deeply appreciated! The rooms were spare but comfortable. Location was excellent, right in city center.

Cons: The rooms could have been a little cleaner - there was a dead bug, and our shower didn’t drain well at all. Value for money didn’t feel very high, considering it was still somewhat expensive for what we got, but I understand that lodging in Bolzano is expensive especially during hiking season, so this was one of the more affordable options.

Pros: Great Location, central to everything Friendly staff at office & Cafe Room had everything, including air-conditioning and fridge. Breakfast was plentiful

Cons: The amount of stairs to our room with suitcases...but it is being picky if me

Pros: Clean, central and secure location, had a balcony that could see the mountains, and had a shared kitchen, washing machine and clothes drying rack. I had an issue checking into one of my two rooms booked (host didn't send me the access code) and I called their customer service line, and they quickly helped me.

Cons: Could hear people talking in the adjacent rooms, no elevator (I was on the 4th floor and backpacking), and my fridge handle was broken, so, I couldn't open the fridge.

Loved our stay at Stay Cooper, I would definitely recommend it if in Bolzano

Pros: The location of the hotel was right in the centre of town and was close to everything. The room had exactly what we needed: a refrigerator, ample space and it was quiet. The hotel had laundry facilities and a kitchen should you need, which we definitely used.

Cons: Just a forewarning that there are a lot of stairs to the apartments depending on your room and floor. We counted 90 to ours. I'm not bothered by this but someone else may be.

Great place for a one night stay - close to both trains and buses. Many cafes and restaurants nearby.

Pros: Clean appartment in the centre of Bolzano old town. Close to train station and bus station. Perfect for a one night stay

Cons: Too many stairs to negotiate with heavy luggage

Good location and value for money

Pros: The room was clean, spacious and located within walking distance to restuarents, the train and bus station as well as the mountain cable car. The receptionist Michela was extremely helpful and attended to our requests.

Cons: It is a bit of a struggle to carry the suitcases up the stairs to your room in the absence of lifts

Very good stay

Pros: Conveniently located, very easy check in with clear instructions. Very good overall.

Cons: I would just like to be able to lock the door from the inside; there didn’t seem to be any way to prevent someone having the code to get in when we were inside.

Mostly a really nice and tidy place to stay in an awesome location + lovely staff

Pros: I found the staff really approachable and friendly; they were so helpful. I really enjoyed the location of the room coupled with its lovely decor; for the price and location it was really good, and I wish I could have stayed longer.

Cons: I had quite big luggage wish me so it was maybe a shame that there wasn't a lift (as far as I could see). The room was really nice and quiet regarding outside, but was often extremely noisy with sound coming from inside the building. Every time the person in the next room opened their door there was a huge jolt as if someone had kicked down my door. The bidet also hadn't been cleaned and had urine on it.
