Hotel Bellaria - Cortina d'Ampezzo

A very pleasant stay in a lovely hotel with excellent service and friendly people

Pros: This is a very well run hotel with friendly and efficient staff. The proprietor - Lorenzo - was extremely pleasant and accomodating. He was helpful with local information and recommendations. He made us feel very welcome. The hotel is tastefully presented and very clean.

Cons: Our only slight issue was the noise from the main road leading through town. In their defence, it was the week leading up to the Olympics so the raod was probably busier than normal

Dolomite Delight

Pros: Lorenzo was a fountain of knowledge and was happy to give his advice on hikes and activities in the area. All the staff were very friendly. A very good buffet style breakfast was provided. The hotel was in a good location for many popular hikes and a short walk from the centre for access to restaurants and a supermarket. Comfortable beds and very clean.

Cons: Unable to access WiFi anywhere in the building. The car park was a little tight for room.

Pros: The hotel was in a perfect location for exploring the town and the Dolomites. Breakfast was great and we chose to dine in one night and the dinner was delicious. Very friendly and helpful staff who have a passion for their town…which after staying here is understandable as it’s a beautiful part of the world !!!!

Cons: Wifi wasn’t the best but we weren’t there to be on our devices.

Just the best time there, loved it.

Pros: Loved everything about the Bellaria. From the welcoming staff and owner Lorenzo to the amazing home cooked meals. Perfect location, couldn’t fault this place. Met lovely other guests staying there, it felt like we were staying in someone’s home. Would have loved to stay longer.

A fabulous time, would stay again!

Pros: Nice alpine vibes, clean and friendly staff. Parking was good too. Matilda gave us great advice on places to see and Lorenzo was very friendly, we would stay again!

It was very nice stay, full of fantastic views and Italian food.

Pros: Hotel is located in a very close distance to Cortina centre. Very convenient for any way out to mountains trekking.

Lovely family run stay in the heart of Cortina!

Pros: Lovely family run hotel with friendly staff, beautiful interiors and views to the Dolomites. Close enough to the city so that you can walk in, but far away enough so that it is peaceful in the evenings. Would stay again!

Cons: Although the rooms were clean (e.g. the linen, floors, bathrooms etc), our room was a little dusty. Freshly wiped down surfaces would be covered in a fine layer of dust only after a few hours. Luckily this is an easy problem to fix - just need to air out the doonas and linens etc a bit more between washes!

Very good value for money. Very convenient location with parking.

Pros: Very good location - not exactly in the centre but close enough. Convenient parking next to the hotel. Very good dinners, locally prepared.

Cons: Very few hangers for winter jackets - typical problem in most hotels.

Lovely, feels like home

Pros: Lovely experience in so many ways. The staff made our stay a very special trip and birthday celebration. Lorenzo, Matilda and Paola are super kind and made our 6 days at Cortina unforgettable. The breakfast is great, the rooms are clean and comfortable after a long day of skiing and the location is the best to walk from to the town (5mins away). Highly recommend, I will definitely come back again!
