Hotel Villa Emilia

Pros: About 15 mins walk to town center, a bit up the hill but….. Beautiful view. I enjoyed breakfast with a view very much !! We have a car, but bus is convenient- just outside the hotel

Cons: Breakfast is good. Except everyday it’s exactly the same. Same type of croissant. Same soft boiled eggs. But it’s just Bcos I like variety

Staff were very helpful and lovely.

Pros: The outdoor area was relaxing. The views from the dining area were beautiful. There is a bus stop at the hotel with an hourly bus into town.

Cons: The single room I had was very small. Steep hill to walk up and down to get into town. Hotel decor is not very nice. A bit old and outdated.

Will definetly try to stay there again if I come back to Ortisei.

Pros: My room was super, super cozy with a nice view of part of the montains. I had the bonus of a lovely rainy night. The garden was incredible! Perfect for reading a book in the evening looking at the montains. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The dinner superb.

Cons: There was no lift and the ventilation in the bathroom made a weird loud noise with the lights on. Nothing that would make my stay there worthless though.

Pros: Location is amazing. Good brekfast, nice staff. The room was clean.

Cons: The room was sooooo small, so considering that, the price is too big.

Pros: Great place to stay for our short visit. Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Bus stop right outside accomodation and was free for guests.

Cons: Shower and bathroom a bit small, but was clean.

Perfect place to base yourself for your stay in Ortesi!

Pros: Such a lovely place to stay! 10 min walk into the main town. So beautiful waking up being surrounded by the mountains, everything is so peaceful and quiet. Also a wonderful breakfast! & free buses if you want venture to different mountain destinations which I did easily!

Cons: I stayed in summer in late June, not a major issue, but no air con. I actually slept great without it.

Nice hotel with views of the Dolomites

Pros: The mountain views. The bed was very comfortable. The receptionist Valentina was exceptional, giving us a very warm welcome and lot of info about the area and things to do during our stay. The breakfast and dinner options, whit a nice buffet with salads, cheese, fruits, bread, jam and spreads, pastries… The waitress were polite and attentive. The room was big and we had complementary water, tea and coffee.

Cons: The bathroom was smelling very bad. Had to keep the bathroom door closed all the time to avoid the smell spreading to the room. The furniture is outdated. The receptionist that dealt with us in the morning before leaving was very cold and not very pleasant to talk to.

Good value

Pros: Good value in a relatively expensive resort. Rooms comfortable and well fitted with shelves/cupboards.

Cons: Quite a walk up the hill from the town or from nearest ski lift. However there is an efficient ski bus service if you don’t want to walk. Slightly old fashioned rooms, but everything works.

Pros: Convenient, with free parking, ski storage and free breakfast. We were also able to check in very early which was appreciated.

Cons: The breakfast could have also included more variety of scrambled eggs for example.

Pros: Hotel room with gorgeous view. Simple European breakfast, but really good.
