Pros: Absolutely cosy rooms, perfect spa with mountain views, great staff and food. Simply perfect for hiking, many paths both for Seceda photos but also more quiet and interesting discoveries.

A magical place to stay

Pros: Friendly and professional staff of a family run business. Exceptional quality and beautifully prepared food. Comfortable and spacious rooms and exceptional location for walking in the Val Gardena. We would highly recommend this to lovers of walking, fine dining and first class accommodation. Magic location.

Cons: That we could not stay longer. Book directly through the Almhotel as we were ripped off 300Euro for our 4 day stay by Booking.com. We have been attempting to have them refund through their price match for over 3 months now to no avail. The company places all sorts of restrictions and each time I fulfil their requests for new information they ask for more. Support a family run business directly.

Fantastic mountain experience

Pros: Loved being on the top of mountain . Just getting there was an adventure as had to leave car in safe car park below and catch cable car up to hotel high on mountain. We were given second floor room /balcony with unbelievable views. It is family run for multiple generations. They and rest staff were great with personal attention. Half board was included in rate which we weren’t expecting. Dinners were amazing with multiple courses. Definitely won’t be hungry! It was an experience just being there as there were multiple breathtaking hikes on your doorstep. Love to go back in winter where there endless skiing options right from the property

Pros: The location offers stunning views, surrounded by majestic mountains—an ideal spot for hiking enthusiasts

Cons: While there were many positive aspects to our stay, we believe that the cable car (Col Raiser) and the parking lot should be included or at least clearly mentioned before confirming the booking and making a payment. Additionally, both breakfast and dinner were average in quality. Otherwise, everything else was great and we truly appreciated the experience.

Beautiful views, friendly staff

Pros: The location is amazing — perfect for hiking in summer and (I assume) skiing in winter. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating. Choice with the full board dinner was a bit limited, but the food was quite good.

Cons: You should be aware that unless your booking is very long, you’ll have to pay for the gondola (36/adult roundtrip) and parking at the base (15/nt). I forget whether this was disclosed before booking. Worth taking into account, since it can increase the cost of a stay significantly.

Pros: Alt var velholdt. Beliggenheden perfekt med vandreture lige udenfor døren. Et dejligt spa og wellness område og et meget hjælpsomt og venligt personale. Skøn mad !
