Relaxing location

Pros: Very relaxing and calm location with stunning views.

Pros: Great location and friendly staff. Comfortable and clean, would love to come back.

Cons: Sweet breakfast, but I get this is the Italian way. Fresh bread would be nice.

Peaceful break in an oasis of calm and serenity with a genial unobtrusive host

Pros: Breakfast was very good. The evening meal was exceptional however. Our host clearly explained the course options which we booked in advance, and the meals cooked were authentic Italian fare ( but not pizza!) served simply, but absolutely gorgeous, all topped off with good desert options too. The host was helpful but genial and unobtrusive, while chatting to all the guests. The premises and setting were exceptionally peaceful and calming and the two of us really enjoyed our couple of days there. There are great walks/hikes in the area. Finally it was really great value.

Cons: Not much really. Yes the decor was simple, but it was perfectly clean and added to the calmness of the premises.

Long weekend away from it all

Pros: Peace and tranquility of the place was outstanding. Great place to start walks from. Stars at night were incredible. Owner very chatty. Accepted dogs. The views were out of this world.

Cons: Driving up and down the narrow road got a bit tedious. Breakfast had a poor choice and felt chaotic.

Un dipinto ovunque ti giri

Pros: La locanda si trova in un posto davvero meraviglioso, svegliarsi al mattino con il sole che illumina le montagne, pace e silenzio rotto solo dallo scampanare delle mucche è qualcosa di unico. Il proprietario è stato molto gentile e si è sempre assicurato che fossimo a nostro agio per tutto il soggiorno, dalla temperatura della stanza, al servizio colazione ed è stato disponibile a rispondere ad eventuali domande sul luogo o semplici indicazioni stradali.

Pros: la posizione è spettacolare, il proprietario della struttura è una persona veramente gentile e disponibile

A magical stay made unforgettable by Mario’s kindness and the beauty of Pale di San Martino.

Pros: Our stay was truly wonderful thanks to Mario, who is an outstanding host. From the very first moment, he made us feel calm, welcome, and in tune with the magical atmosphere of Pale di San Martino. The location itself is also breathtaking—after visiting Ortisei and Cortina, we were surprised at how cozy and special this little hotel and its surroundings felt.

Cons: Unfortunately, the girlfriend of the owner, who is not Mario, left a negative impression. Her cold and unfriendly attitude felt out of place in such a magical setting. A place like this should remain warm and authentic, without any trace of rudeness or insincerity.

Siamo stati trattati così bene da fermarci un giorno in più.

Pros: Posizione eccezionale, gestore cordiale e sempre disponibile, stanza comoda e con tutti i comfort. Colazione, pranzo e cena curate, varie e abbondanti.

Cons: Scarsa connessione cellulare ma, ovviamente, non dipende dall'albergo.

Piccola oasi di pace tra le montagne

Pros: Alla Locanda Val Canali siamo stati benissimo, il posto è meraviglioso, immerso tra le montagne, c’è una grande pace. Offrono la possibilità di cenare alla struttura, con un piccolo preavviso, e si mangia veramente bene, è come essere a casa di amici. Se si cerca un posto tranquillo, senza grandi pretese, in cui rilassarsi tra le montagne, la Locanda Val Canali è un posto perfetto!
