Cons: Service is good. It is not bad, just good. We would like to have more options for breakfast.

Pros: The location is excellent and the view is absolutely beautiful. It was really nice to wake up and see such a great view.

Cons: The pillows were very low quality and very uncomfortable, which made it difficult to sleep well. Also, the room did not have slippers or bathrobes. It is quite strange that for this price such basic amenities are not included.

Pros: We really liked fantastic location! The hotel has a charming old-fashioned atmosphere that makes you feel as if you’ve stepped back in time, which we truly enjoyed and found very special.

Cons: We didn’t like as much the dinner, it could be a bit more testier. Also, it would be great if the bar was open, as that would make the overall experience even more enjoyable.

Pros: Wonderful location, could not imagine anything more beautiful and relaxing than this spot! In each season it is amazing and unique with lots of activity possibilities. The staff is wonderful too, they know exactly what hospitality means on the high ends whilst maintaining an air of warm familiarity. The rooms are spotless with breathtaking view and historic ambiance. Their gastronomy is top as well. A must visit!

The most wonderful Dolomites experience

Pros: Breakfast (and dinner) were EXCEPTIONAL, unlike any other buffet we’ve been to. So many dishes to choose from, it was really something special. The evening we got there - it was a bonfire and torch walk around the lake + free mulled wine and snacks for the guests… perfect experience… Location is to die for! Will come back again very very soon….

The heaven on earth

Pros: The view from the balcony was breathtaking. The room was clean, very quiet at night. Parking was close to the entrance and free. Breakfast was very tasty, with good omelet and sausages, fresh fruits, very good coffee and big variety of cakes. The dinner was incredible, aperitive bar was cozy and making very good cocktails. This was the heaven on earth.

Perfectly located hotel with a history going back generations.

Pros: Location, views. We stayed in a suite with lake view, one of the best rooms I had in my life.

Cons: Lack of pool, BUT there is a sauna

A beautiful few days looking over the crown jewel of northern Italy.

Pros: The hotel was immaculate and the views of Lago Di Braies were outstanding. The staff were friendly and accommodating and very personable. The food was incredible and seasonal with lots of options. Breakfast was delicious although rather formal. The artichoke soup was the best thing I ate in Italy

Cons: The dress code for the dining room would have been nice to know in advance as I had only packed my hiking shoes and flip flops, and so when I was told no sandals, shorts or hats it was a bit of a surprise. The WiFi didn’t reach my room at the far end which was a pity but otherwise a truly enjoyable stay

I want to return, again and again.

Pros: Everything. The location is out of this world! The staff were superb and the food great.
