Great hotel

Pros: The location is excellent, right in town. It's about a 15 minute walk to the train station. The new wellness centre is lovely. The rooms/beds are comfortable. Breakfast has plenty of choice. Everything was perfect. Transport links are great from here plenty of buses/trains etc

Cons: I guess the only thing could be....the church bells start at 7am and are quite loud. I guess that could be an issue if you're not an early riser. It really wasn't an issue for us because we were up early anyway and the town is far more alive early in the morning. A kettle wasn't provided in the room but when we asked the staff were more than happy to supply one.

Pros: Hotel has a lot to offer. Good food served at dinner time. It's very large so it never felt as full as it was. Had a lovely balcony as well.

Cons: The hotel is big and at times was a bit confusing to navigate, perhaps a layout plan in the room would've helped. Breakfast was quite chaotic. It seemed tables weren't being cleared quickly or items in the buffet weren't replenished. Had to move dirty plates one morning to sit at a table.

Pros: Amazing breakfast and lovely bonus for a 24h activity pass for surrounding attractions, including the cable car. Very welcoming staff that helped guide us concerning transportation.
