Absolutely beautiful and lush hotel that makes you want to come back

Pros: It was absolutely gorgeous, clean, great location. Extremely comfortable.

Cons: Our room opened directly into the breakfast area and that was a little awkward.

Pros: A very beautifully designed hotel in a lovely historical building. We stayed in room 9 which has a bathroom up some steps (not ideal if you have mobility issues but otherwise very nice). It felt bigger than it looked in the pictures. The bathroom was huge and very luxurious. There was loads of storage space and a lovely view across the river to the town. We loved the sauna and well-thought out communal areas. Breakfast in Viertel Bar at the company's sister hotel was also great. The location just next to the river and the town centre was perfect. If you have a car it is worth paying for the private parking in the flashy garage nearby. Everywhere else is equally expensive to park. One of the nicest places we've stayed.

Cons: Doesn't detract significantly from the overall experience but the pillows were pretty rubbish. Very soft and baggy. I need a bit more neck support so had to stick a folded towel under the pillow.

Do yourself a favour and book this place!

Relaxing atmosphere in old walls

Pros: There was a warm welcome when we arrived even before the official check-in time. The room was astonishing. It's in a nearly 400 year old town palace. Nicely renovated and tastefully furbished. There are many places throughout the house to enjoy some art, a coffee or glass of wine or simply the ambiance. Our room had a large bathroom with private whirlpool and a cosy comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet was in another building one minute walk away. It was a superb continental breakfast buffet with lots of local meat, cheese and pastries. We were super pleased with our stay and would definitely choose it again next time we come to Bressanone.

Extremely lovely hotel - so nice we went back again!

Pros: Fabulous hotel. Very central. Very comfortable with lovely decor. Nice to have hot drinks and snacks available . The breakfast at the sister venue was superb. All staff were delightful and helpful.

Special stay in the heart of Brixen

Pros: Beautifully restored building, great design, excellent breakfast. Very good communication. It also has a small sauna and jacuzzi.

Great rooms, good area, bathroom was perfect with a great shower. Access to suana was a bonus.

Pros: Great stay, amazing facilities, spacious rooms, great shower and heating.

Cons: We didn’t know how to turn the heating down, it got quite hot at night when sleeping.

The heat ruined our stay in a beautiful hotel.

Pros: Everything was beautiful. The staff were incredible. The location was great.

Cons: We arrived during a bout of very hot weather and due to the age of the building there was no air conditioning. We only lasted a night and the hotel staff kindly allowed us to move to another of their hotels near by. Both hotels were wonderful. The staff were lovely and it was no one’s fault the weather was extremely hot. Perhaps a freestanding plug in air conditioning unit may be an option to help when such problems arise.

Brixen, the marvel of the times gone by.

Pros: Genuine hospitality of the hotel who upgraded my room without asking for it. The second to none location.

Cons: Nothing to dislike.
