Hotel Ronce

Perfect stay

Pros: Very good stay at Hotel Ronce, the staff was very welcoming and helpful, the evening dinner was excellent with lot to choose from. The room itself was huge and well furnished. The spa area was pretty spacious with lot of commodities. The ski-in/ski-out was possible but you need to go down a pretty steep red slope so beginner, be careful, though there are buses coming up and down every 30min to reach the lifts anyway. I'll definitely come back !

Cons: There are no bus after 18h30 to go back to the hotel, so you cannot stay much in Ortisei after 6pm if you did not go down by car.

Pros: One of the nicest hotels i’ve ever stayed in. Now was gorgeous, amazing wellness facilities and kind staff.

Pros: The staff were very friendly and welcoming! The only thing is that the room felt a bit warm at night and not very soundproof, but everything else was great.

cosy peaceful lodge

Pros: a very cosy lodge with a beautiful grassy front garden. i was lucky to get the room facing the back and had a beautiful view of the mountain trees. i felt so peaceful staying here. our balcony was beautiful and there are separation panels between the rooms so you enjoy the privacy of your own balcony. the breakfast variety was superb and i looked forward to it every day. a lot of pastries and hams and cakes and spreads. i would stay here again if i came to the dolomites another time. we had a car and so it was very easy to get to places. it would be much harder without a car as this place is atop a high sloping hill. the hotel does provide a shuttle service to the town center though, but just note that walking will be rather tiring. but i have to say it was precisely that it was away from the town center that made it extra peaceful like a cosy cabin in the woods.

Very good. Recommended

Pros: Clean and a good sized room. Breakfast was very good with my wife's gluten and lactose free well catered for. Plenty of parking. Bus service (free) to Ortisei approx every hour (but couple of hours in the middle of the day are missed). Evening bus was every half hour. This was very useful as it was from hotel door to just a short walk to center of Ortisei, and lifts to Secedia and Alpe di Suisi.

Absolutely fantastic service

Pros: I cannot stress enough how excellent everyone working there was to us. From the front desk when we checked in and had a million questions and requests, they went above and beyond (from rearranging our room to offering trail recommendations). Special mention for the woman working at breakfast- when my partner mentioned I was vegan she made sure that I had an impressively wide range of options, and also remembered exactly how I like my coffee every day. It was a fabulous trip, and the accommodation made it really special. The hotel itself was great- everything was lovely, modern and spotless. The spa was a particular highlight, especially the saunas after hiking! Thank you so much!!

Fantastic well priced hotel

Pros: Fantastic stay in Ortisei. The room was unexpectedly huge with a lovely balcony overlooking the greenery at the back of the property. The staff was super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was an event! So many choices and I could have stayed for another week to keep trying all the dishes. The wellness area was lovely and quiet at this time of the year.

Cons: I knew the hotel was up the hill and it does make a difference, going up and down during the day. There is a shuttle bus but I hardly used it. Not a big problem for me, but if you have any mobility limitations, this could be a problem. Also minor point, I would have loved tea facilities in the room. The only reason why I didn't give this 10/10.

The best stay - we 100% recommend and will be back!

Pros: Our recent stay at Hotel Ronce was exceptional. Our room was clean with plenty of room and the view from our balcony was a joy everyday, even with the changing weather. The staff are so friendly and go above and beyond for guests. The location is great, especially with the added extra of the bus/shuttle bus - don’t let the hill put you off! Breakfast had plenty of choice and the wellness spa and gardens were beautiful for some rest and recovery after a day of hiking! We would 100% recommend and will definitely be back!
