Family run hotel for a quite stay in the Bolzano area

Pros: We were there by far more than 3 days and not really for turism. The hotel staff were so nice to us for the whole period that made us feel like home. The lady owner, she is a force of nature, she is always finding solutions and very accomodating. All the team working at the hotel are very helpful. The room was clean, silent and confortable. Breakfast buffet is everyday excellent, with sweet and salty options. The garden/lounge is a very nice area to chill after a long day in the hot Bolzano. Bar is open until 22:00 everynight. Restaurant is not active anymore, but there are several good options in the surrounding. The hotel has a covered parking included in the room rate. Wellness centre is also available even if we did not use it.

Cons: Nothing was wrong during our stay.

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, always making us feel welcome. The breakfasts were delicious, and the coffee was excellent. We especially loved the beautiful garden and the friendly cats that made the atmosphere even more charming. A perfect place to relax.

Bolzano is a really nice town, well worth the 3 nights we stayed there.

Pros: Owner was very helpful on our arrival, gave us some useful information regards restaurants in town. Fabulous restaurants in town, plenty to choose from.

Pros: I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Lewald. The location in the southern part of Bolzano is convenient, especially if you’re traveling by car—being able to move around independently was a real plus. The underground garage was a great feature, safe and easy to access. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with a well-equipped and equally spacious bathroom. Breakfast was discreet but of good quality—limited options, but everything fresh and well-prepared. I particularly enjoyed the garden area, ideal for sunbathing, and the outdoor swimming pool, which is not in-ground but an above-ground structure—still a pleasant spot to cool off. The hydromassage area next to it was a lovely addition—relaxing and well maintained. I didn’t use the spa as it follows a nudist policy, which is not within my habits, but everything else made for a very comfortable and relaxing stay.

Perfect restaurant in the suburb of Bolzano

Pros: Perfect restaurant in the suburb of Bolzano, 2 mins from bus station. Very convenient for transportation. Hotel supplies the Guest Pass with free transportation to most of the destinations amongst the regions. The sauna at the basement is also very relaxing. Very helpful staff, support quickly for any of the guests needs or requests.

Cons: Hotel is close to the road, if your the room window is facing the road, it can be a nit noisy.

Great location just outside Bolzano & a very warm welcome from this family run hotel

Pros: Very warm welcome from the family, clean, comfortable room, refreshing pool & good spa facilities + free travel pass

Pros: Excellent facilities, friendly staff that go out of their way to help and look after you, beautiful view of the mountains from many rooms, great buffet breakfast in the mornings with everything you need, plus they given you a travel ticket when you check in to use on buses, trains and cable cars in Bolzano and up to the mountains for the duration of your stay which was an unexpected bonus!

Cons: No negatives!

A Comfortable stay.

Pros: Room was really great. Breakfast was good. Parking was underneath.

Cons: No restaurant and pool was above ground. Far from centre but free bus pass and ride was ok.
