Truely magical place!

Pros: The hotel is very ver beautiful. It’s a small castle with only, I think, 24 rooms and you feel very exclusive. It’s in a nice, quite location and once you enter the gates of the hotel you don’t feel the noise of the city. Breakfast was exceptional, the swimming pool is warm and clean, sauna area is well thought through. Rooms are socialist and everything is new and well maintained. Highly recommend it. We stayed with two small children and felt comfortable.

Pros: Amazing breakfasts, beautiful hotel, staff particularly Hamza whom we had the most contact with was wonderful; helpful, friendly and couldnt do enough to ensure our stay was perfect.

Pros: Everything was wonderful at this hotel! Attentive staff, delicious and varied breakfast, comfortable mattress and pillows! Impeccable cleanliness! Gorgeous room, great hotel design. Everything smells delicious! I will recommend this wonderful hotel to all my friends!

Magical castle stay

Pros: We had the most magical stay. The reception staff were so lovely and considerate. They were so helpful and went above and beyond including making sure we had dinner when we arrived late and looking after our bags after check out. The room was very comfortable and the spa area was excellent. We appreciated the turndown service and the complimentary snacks. Highly recommend the restaurant for lunch or dinner! Only a 10 minute walk from the train station. We also really appreciated the city pass included with the stay.

Cons: Most of the hot options at breakfast were an extra charge. The coffee at breakfast was poor.

Beyond our expectations!

Pros: We stayed at Castel Hörtenberg for two nights and it was truly incredible from start to finish. The setting is beautiful, the atmosphere refined yet relaxed, but what really made the stay unforgettable was the staff. A special thank you to Rigena, Hamza, and Ryan, who spent over an hour helping us make and maintain a fire so we could fully enjoy the outdoor evening. That level of care and dedication is rare and says everything about the spirit of this place. The spa is one of a kind, elegant, serene, and perfectly designed for deep relaxation. Breakfast was extremely generous, with a great variety and excellent quality. We also dined at the hotel’s restaurant, Le Segrete, which was outstanding, and the signature porcini ice cream was a surprising and memorable highlight. An exceptional stay in every sense. We’ll absolutely be back.

Pros: Amazing location, facilities, venue, rooms, staff. Came off a multiday hike in the Dolomites and so happy we booked this place. Spa was great, very well looked after! Beautiful venue!

Amazing stay, we don’t want to leave

Pros: Amazing stay in a castle which has been architecturally considered and renovated to a magnificent 5star property with amenities to suit. The service was faultless, the rooms large, bed and linen. All were excellent as was parking and breakfast. A must for any stay in Bolzano!!
