Pros: Staff kindness especially in the restaurant, the view of the hotel is amazing, cleanness of the overall facility

Cons: Limited time for using a sauna, no elevator up to the top floor (didn’t expect stairs from the second floor), limited view of the top floor.

Fantastic stay. Well above expectations.

Pros: I had a great time. I was there for just to nights in connection with the Seiser Alm Half Marathon. Although my reservation only included breakfast, I was pleasantly surprised to hear that I could get dinner for €20 each evening (five-course menu). The SPA (free access) made it for a perfect combo after the run.

Cons: If I absolutely have to find something, it would have been nice if the room was equipped with a water boiler and a fridge. But these are minor issues.

Great hotel with comfortable rooms and a convenient walk from Alpe di Siusi.

Pros: Had a very comfortable stay at Hotel Schmung. It is conveniently a 10 minute walk from Compatsch which is the start of many hiking trails at Alpe di Siusi. The staff were friendly and efficient so we were pleased with the service there. Had both breakfast and dinner there and enjoyed the variety and quality of the food.

Cons: At the time of our visit, dinner was only available if we were able to start dining from 6:30-7:00pm. This meant that on the day we wanted to watch the sunset in Alpe di Siusi, we had to find dinner elsewhere. Also the buffet/communal food area for breakfast and dinner had flies scavenging the food (which we did not experience at other hotels in the Dolomites), so the hotel could have done more to protect the food by placing covers or making sure flies don't come into the restaurant.

Pros: Habitación muy bonita, cómoda, equipada y limpia. El personal del hotel es muy eficiente y amable. La cena en el hotel estuvo genial y a un precio increíble, era un menú de 4 platos y postre por 20€ que hay que reservar previamente. Nos lo aconsejo la chica de recepción y vale la pena.
