Pros: Very central position. Free parking. You can enjoy the old-fashioned style of an ancient building where the owners have preserved original things to keep the original soul alive

Cons: I was charged around 4 eur extra to the price declared while booking for no reason

Pleasant old fashioned hotel

Pros: Friendly staff and the hotel has a lot of charm. Our room on the top floor looked over the river with many ancient and beautiful trees. Very nice self service breakfast and great coffee.

Cons: The carpets on the stairs were in need of a good clean and many of the old features of the building were broken and just left giving a dilapidated feel which spoilt its old world charm.

Pros: Quiet location except for the soothing murmur of the river Etsch running by right in front of the garden. Conveniently located between railway station and old town. Classical ambience from k.u.k times with a little wear and tear here and there. Nice breakfast room with garden option and tasty breakfast.

Cons: Going up one flight of stairs to the main entrance only to go back down one flight to the reception. Being footsore, after the first time I used the back entrance through the breakfast room to reach the reception an elevator at level.

Enjoyable, would book again if staying in Merano.

Pros: A beautiful old building, lovely rooms with high ceilings.

Cons: Faded grandeur, it looks a bit tired now and needs a bit of a revamp. Checking in was lengthy and seemed very thorough with passports kept overnight.

Would be a pleasure to stay again.

Pros: Hosts had very friendly character, and very helpful. Hotel had a wonderful old time charm.

Good for a short stay in Meran

Pros: Good hotel near the center of Meran for a short stay. The hotel is a bit old but has charme. Breakfast is appropriate for the category and there s a parking place for guests.

Cons: Mattresses

Pros: Great breakfast. And they also serve very good dinners. So you need not to go out when tired in the evening. Very helpful and kind staff. Great location close to railway station, directly at promenade along the river. Genius loci

Lovely family run hotel in great location.

Pros: Lovely family run hotel in easy walking distance of restaurants and shops along the riverbank. The room was quirky and comfortable with a balcony to sit out on. Great breakfast with delicious coffee. Parking was in the hotel grounds so easy to access.

Cons: The shower in the bath was a bit slippery - a mat for the less steady like me would have been a comfort. I would have loved a kettle in our room so we could sit on the veranda with a cup of tea.

Bella esperienza

Pros: Posizione eccezionale a due passi dal centro e molto silenziosa. Camera comoda e spaziosa con tutto l'occorrente. Colazione completa dolce e salata con possibilità di chiedere extra dalla cucina. Personale gentile ed accogliente.

Cons: L'unica pecca potrebbero essere gli arredi che sono un po' troppo usurati, ma nulla di eccessivo.

Muito bom, mas pode melhorar

Pros: Hotel antigo muito bem localizado com varanda e vista para o rio.

Cons: Café da manha com ovos frios e o dono ou pessoa da recepção muito grosso.
